The summer of 2008 will represent the South Troy Dodgers 38th year of competition. The Dodgers organization consists of teams ranging from 13-18 years of age.The South Troy Dodgers Connie Mack Team plays in the Atlantic Coast Elite Baseball League (ACEBL). The Dodgers have competed in the ACEBL since the League's inception in 1999.This league each year exposes our ballplayers to the highest level of amateur baseball competion in the region. Since that time the Dodgers have been the AABC North Atlantic Regional Champions three times, advancing to the AABC Connie Mack World Series held annually in Farmington, NM. (2000- National Runner-Up, 2004- Third Place, 2006- Seventh Place) Since 1999, more than 80 South Troy Dodgers have gone on to play Division 1 Baseball. The Goal each year of the Connie Mack Teams Summer and Fall program is to expose the ballplayers to college programs and find the best fit for each ballplayer as they move on from high school to collegiate competition. The next step is to prepare them and help give each ballplayer the ability to compete for a job the moment they step on their respective college campuses in the fall of their freshman year. Our ballplayers already know competition and how to compete.
